Cape St Francis Holiday Resort started out several years ago as a Caravan park, and had a few chalets too. It has grown over the years, and now has many chalets, a conference centre, and its own restaurant, Joe Fish.

i will travel around and maybe buy an excellent fish restaurant.
great shot and thanks for your blog
So what is the pick of the local catch? I’m keen on octopus and squid, could I get any of that in St Francis?
We camped there this last weekend. It seems that they are slowly fazing out the caravan park and building more units. Very sad, because it's a great site.
Marlow, I know of a restaurant at the Port which is up for sale.....
Kris, the calamari is a local delicacy, and good at most St Francis restaurants! We haven't eaten at Joe Fish for a couple of years so don't know what it is like these days... firefly, did you eat there?
firefly, what a shame, it IS a nice caravan park, especially the spot close to the path that leads over the dune to the beach! I don't like the new chalets, the layout is terrible and they don't feel friendly. Last time we stayed there we asked to be moved into one of the old thatch ones, which we love.
